Mary Blair Artwork

Known to be Walt’s favorite artist, Mary Blair really came into her own and developed a unique artistic style during the Latin America tour, which Walt and a handpicked group of his artists went on as part of the US’ Good Neighbor policy during World War II. Mary Blair is known for her vivid watercolors and worked on such projects as Cinderella (1950), Alice in Wonderland (1951), Peter Pan (1953), and most recognizably the classic attraction it’s a small world.
